How to use it

Price the work, not the hour

Anchor on the median, then move for a reason

The median is what a typical client expects. Go above it with a portfolio that shows why. Go below it only to fill a calendar, and say so in the package name.

Sell packages, not a rate card

Three packages beat a list of twelve services. A base photo package, a photo and drone package, and a full package with a tour. Clients pick the middle one most of the time.

Price by size, not by hour

Clients do not know how long a shoot takes. They know the square footage. Tiers by size read as fair and stop the negotiation before it starts.

Charge for speed

Next-day delivery is the standard. Same-day is a service. A flat rush fee is easier to accept than a higher base price.

Next step

Put the price on a public profile

Profiles with a price and six photos get the quote requests. Listing is free, and the profile takes ten minutes.
